DIKSHA KARAPURKAR
With a background in Earth Sciences and research experience in Coastal Dynamics, the instructor brings a strong foundation in Remote Sensing and GIS, developed through hands-on fieldwork, independent learning, and academic research.
Starting her journey without formal training in geospatial technology, she built expertise through a funded research fellowship under Prof. Dr. Venkatraman Hegde at SDM College of Engineering & Technology, Dharwad, and further deepened her knowledge under the guidance of Dr. Ratheesh Ramakrishnan.
Today, she mentors students and professionals in applied geospatial techniques, focusing on practical skill development, self-paced learning, and research-oriented thinking. Her approach combines technical precision with a clear understanding of the learning curve faced by new entrants in the field.
